Cornerstone Church began as an Independent Church in January, 1991. It was started by Pastor Kim and Donel Ferguson in the Living Room of Lonnie and Brenda Hasty in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. Once the church was running more than 40 people they moved to a location on West End Boulevard in Cape Girardeau. They settled in to what was the old "Fisher's Market." |

In 1998 Cornerstone's congregation built a wonderful facility on 11+ acres at 922 Koch Avenue in Cape Girardeau. In May, 2006 Cornerstone Church became affiliated with the Assembly of God Organization. The Assembly of God is one of the largest Pentecostal denominations in the United States and one of the largest Pentecostal fellowships in the world. In July 2008 Jonathan Hendren was elected pastor and serves as our current pastor. |

Weekly attendance and church condition declines at Trinity Life Center of Sacramento, California by the end of 2007. After Glen D. Cole accepts senior pastor position in 2008, the church is now thriving with an average attendance of 800 and has been remodeled without borrowing.
